Everybody is looking forward to getting a brand new pair of Alpinestars riding jeans for the summer. We’ve been quite lucky with the weather, and a pair of jeans with all the protection necessary seems to be the best option to enjoy a ride. The most important aspect of any denim riding jeans is the presence of Kevlar inside. All of the models available have got this Kevlar lining reinforcement in knee, hip and seat areas. The Kevlar lining is stitched to the denim at the bottom for a maximum comfort in the riding position. They also all provide a higher back profile which covers the lumbar region in the riding position.
The first three models all come with CE-rated adjustable knee protectors and removable hip padding (made easy with the Velcro tab inserted inside of the denim). The knee pockets are also adjustable in order to fit different leg lengths.
The Hellcat is the top-end model available in store. It has a denim accordion lumbar stretch panel for a maximum of comfort and a metal zipper at the feet that allows an easy and comfortable use with any riding boots. The Resist jeans has a straight fit. Even though the fit is the same as the Hellcat, you won’t get the stretch panel and the zip at the bottom. This model is just perfect for those who prefer to make a more classy statement. These would go perfectly with a T-GP R Air flow jacket for this summer!
You like the features and the level of protection of the Resist, but this straight fit is definitely not for you? Well, don’t you worry, Alpinestars has thought of everybody. Have a look at the Ablaze. Same features, same protectors as the Resist, but with a more relaxed comfort fit. The Kevlar stitching on the knee is more apparent, giving these jeans a completely different look. Get one of these for £169.96 (same price for the Resist)!
The final men’s option in Tech Denim is the Outcast. Unlike the previous three models, this one does not come with the knee and hip protectors. You’ll find the pockets inside of the denim if you want to upgrade it and buy the protectors separately. This allows a more attainable price point, but still keeps the Kevlar lining and a regular fit. Get one of them for only £139.96!
