Winter will start soon and, for some of us, it is time to look for another pair of gloves to keep us going all way through the cold days of British weather.
The Jet Road gloves from Alpinestars are all weather-riding gloves with a Gore-Tex membrane that will keep you dry at all times. The outer shell is a mix of leather and textile. The leather at the palm is reinforced for more abrasion resistance. This is a perfect touring glove with plenty of features for an extreme comfort and a great level of protection.
The Alpinestars Jet Road gloves have hard knuckle protectors for superior impact protection and a finger bridge between the third and the fourth fingers, which will prevent contortion and separation in the event of an impact slide. You get an extra protection with foam padding on fingers and palm zones as well. As you can see on the picture, there is plenty of reflective piping placed in strategic areas that improve night time visibility in all conditions.

Everything is made to be comfortable at all times. The stretch panels at the wrist and thumb will give you plenty of movement while riding, allowing you to feel and reach all the controls of your bike. The gloves are kept in place with a double closure system. First, the long Velcro flap at the wrist will keep it tightly in place while riding; then, the zip at the end of the cuff will allow you plenty of room to use your gloves either underneath or on top of your jacket. The Gore-Tex twin layer at the cuff is ideal: you can wear the first layer underneath your jacket and the second one on the top!
The inner shell is insulated, so that you won’t have any problems when riding on colder days.
For those who love technology, the left glove comes with a visor wipe on the left thumb, which will be much appreciated on wet days. You will also find a finger stylus that will allow you to use your Sat Nav or your phone anytime without taking your gloves off – what a great idea!
