Today’s blog is about the Jaws leather jacket from
Alpinestars. It is not the best period to get a brand new leather gear, but
with this particular jacket, you might change your mind.

This is a sport riding jacket. The 1.3 mm leather
construction is thick to give you the best protection but light enough to
improve your comfort while wearing it. It has plenty of stretch panels on back,
chest, waist and arms for a maximum flexibility.
The CE Certified Bio-armour shoulder and elbows protectors
are removable. There are foam paddings at chest and back that you can remove
and replace by CE Certified protections if you want to upgrade your gear (it is
actually highly recommended).
This jacket has plenty of features that make it very
comfortable. The main thing is, you get a removable thermal vest that will keep you
warm if you are riding on coldest days and are a leather fan. The lining is
meshed in order to improve the breathability.
The collar itself deserves a little bit of attention: it is
highly comfortable as it is round-edged and meshed to avoid irritation and
improve the breathability, especially at the back of your neck.
Speaking of breathability, the jacket has two zippered
Dynamic Flow Controls (DFC) air in-takes that will allow you to get efficient
ventilation, ideal for summer time.
There are waist and cuff adjustments, so that the jacket
will fit everybody. A connection zip situated in the inside of the jacket will
be used to connect the jacket and the trousers together. Finally, rear reflective sections have been
placed in strategic areas in order to improve the night time visibility.

or online for £370 in black, white and red. It will shortly be available in plain black as well.
