1) HEATED GRIPS
It’s that time of year again! Out on the road you face driving wind and torrential rain – with everything in-between. We know that being comfortable can make the difference between a pleasurable ride out and a painful ride home. Even in the most demanding conditions, heated grips will keep your fingers from going numb, allowing you to keep full control over your bike. The Honda heated grip system has 5 variable heat levels that offer the comfort you require, while the compact handlebar controller can be easily manipulated even with your gloves on. Your ride will no longer be dictated by the elements!!
2) ALARM
As concerns about motorcycle theft continue to grow, an alarm system is a must have investment. Many insurance companies will give you a discount if you have an approved alarm system fitted on your bike. We fit the Honda Averto alarm system on most of the Hondas that we sell, although other manufacturers such as Meta and Datatool produce approved alarm systems. The Honda Averto alarm features the very latest in anti-theft technology.
3) TANK PAD
How can something so small make so much difference to your bike! A tank pad is designed to enhance your motorcycle’s protection from scratches. Tank pads come in all sorts of sizes and colours; it’s up to you how you want to customise your bike. Honda makes a rather nice carbon tank pad incorporating the Honda wing logo that can be yours for only £20!
4) LUGGAGE
Top boxes, panniers, tank bags, tail packs – the choice is endless! No matter what bike you ride there is always luggage to suit you. For long summer holidays abroad with a pillion, a top box and panniers are a great idea. The top box can make a comfortable backrest for your passenger and there is plenty of room for all the clothes and toiletries that you always end up taking away with you! (Plus all the souvenirs that you bring home). Tail packs and tank bags are a convenient choice for day trips. They don’t add any extra width to your bike but you can still pack them full of useful stuff! Honda makes a wide range of hard luggage, much of which is colour coded to your bike. You can buy accessories to go with your hard luggage such as top box backrest pads, inner bags and scuff sets. We also sell Honda tail packs and tank bags specifically for various models.
5) REAR HUGGER
A rear hugger is a great addition to your bike. On a practical level it will protect the rear shock absorber from dirt and road grime. Most huggers are colour matched to your bike, which adds that extra touch of distinction! For the 2009 Fireblade there is a carbon fibre rear hugger for an extra racy look. It is inspired by the RC212V and features the Honda Racing logo.
