The Start of the 2010 British Superbikes

April sees and exciting time for the world of British Motorcycle racing with the start of the long awaited British Superbike season. This competition sees the top teams in the world competing over 7 months across the circuits of Britain, for the title of British Superbikes 2010 Champion.

The first race of the season was held over the Easter bank holiday on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of April with the first visit of the season to Brands Hatch in Kent. The Indy track was used to kick off the season in style and the race saw English rider Sam Lowes take the first win of 2010 with the Honda GNS racing team at just 19 years old. The next race will be held on the 16th, 17th an 18th April in Thruxton just up the road, in Hampshire.

The British Superbikes is a great opportunity for us all to get out on our bikes to see a bit of the action live. There are circuits all over Britain, giving you a great variety of places to visit. These events are renowned for their excitement and nail biting action as well as offering a great day out for the entire family with entertainment and shops onsite.
