Alpinestars Bregenz Drystar Pants

Alpinestars Bregenz Trousers

The Alpinestars Bregenz Drystar pants are the perfect trousers to wear when touring or commuting on your bike in all weather conditions. The trousers are anthracite grey with black panels which makes a nice change from the usual plain black trousers and they feature reflective inserts to help you stay visible.

The Bregenz Drystar pants are made from brushed polyamide with polyester fabric reinforcements. They have a Drystar liner which is Alpinestars own waterproof and breathable membrane designed for all weather comfort and performance. It is a multi-layer membrane designed for moisture permeability, breathability and durability while also being 100% waterproof. The Drystar layer is installed under the outer shell with seams sealed using a special tape seal. The Drystar membrane has a ventilation control system and the trousers have a removable thermal liner so they adapt to all weather conditions be it dry, wet, windy or cold.

Removable Braces

These trousers have removable braces as standard that you can adjust using Velcro tabs. The waist closes with a sliding metal tab and a zip but you can also adjust the fit around the waist with Velcro tabs on the side of the trousers. There is also an elasticated panel at the back of the waist band to ensure the pants fit perfectly.  There is a connecting zip around the waist allowing you to zip the trousers to selected Alpinestars leather and textile jackets. The lower legs have a long zip that opens widely so that the trousers fit neatly over your boots.

Overall I think that the Alpinestars Bregenz Trousers are brilliant. They fit well and look good and have ample protection for my needs. They come in short and regular lengths so you are sure to find a size that offers a great fit and plenty of comfort. They usually retail at £179.99 but you can get them from www.motorbikeplanet.co.uk for only £130 while stocks last. They are also available for the same price in store at Honda Of Bournemouth.
